They sit mostly in the south of the state. The two with the most are Dixie National Forest and Capitol Reef National Park. Sizes are lopsided, from 1 site at the small end to 190 at the large.

A campground is listed when it sits inside a certified National Park Service unit, within ten miles of an International Dark Sky park, reserve or sanctuary, or within five miles of a certified community. Certification is DarkSky International’s and the join is ours.
