10 campgrounds with first-come sites in Oklahoma
They lean to the west of the state rather than being spread evenly across it. Cibola National Forest and Grasslands and Ouachita National Forest hold more of them than anywhere else in the state. The biggest is Rock Creek Group Camp (Chickasaw) with 50 sites.
A campground is listed when Recreation.gov or the Forest Service records it as first-come, first-served. Campgrounds where some sites book online and the rest are first-come are listed too, marked partly reservable.
