70 campgrounds that take vehicles of 40 feet or more in Texas

The Army Corps of Engineers runs most of them. Sam Rayburn Reservoir and Whitney Lake hold more of them than anywhere else in the state. Holiday (Texas) takes the longest rig in Texas at 200 feet.

A campground is listed when the longest permitted vehicle in its Recreation.gov site records is 40 feet or more. The figure is the longest single site, so most sites at a listed campground are shorter.
