Stillwater Campground

Stillwater Campground offers ten large, partially-shaded campsites along a placid stretch of the Lower Crooked Wild and Scenic River. Some pull-through campsites as well as day-use parking are available in the recreation site. Open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis; no potable water is available. When recreating on public lands, practice Leave-No-Trace Principles. Watch for bicyclists: the section of road between Prineville and Bowman Dam is a state scenic bikeway. The Chimney Rock segment of the Crooked River is characterized by a mostly steady gradient in the wild and scenic segment.

Ochoco National Forest begins about 4.5 miles away, and it is the closest of these.

Each unit is published as a centre point and an acreage rather than a boundary, so this section stands it in for a circle of the same area. Whether a campground is inside, and how far it is from one it is outside, are both approximate.
