Tusayan - Montane

Perhaps the biggest draw to Tusayan-Montane Campground in northern Arizona is its proximity to the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. Located just 4 miles south of the park entrance in beautiful Kaibab National Forest, Tusayan-Montane is a quiet, peaceful campground that generally has open camping sites. A nature trail weaves its way through the pine forest, and many more hiking opportunities are within a short drive. Public land it sits in

On Wilderness Atlas →

This campground sits inside Baaj Nwaavjo I'tah Kukveni – Ancestral Footprints of the Grand Canyon National Monument, which overlaps Kaibab National Forest.

Each unit is published as a centre point and an acreage rather than a boundary, so this section stands it in for a circle of the same area. Whether a campground is inside, and how far it is from one it is outside, are both approximate.
